Anti – Wrinkle Treatment
Using a natural purified protein, we are able to relax specific
facial muscles that cause expression lines in the upper face
(crows feet, forehead) to form. Once the muscles are relaxed,
you are unable to contract them, thus the lines gradually
smooth and new lines are prevented from forming.
This is a non-surgical treatment, administered by our Doctor, Dr Wayne Young, using a very fine needle. After treatment it will take 2-3 days to begin taking effect and 7 – 10days for full effects, lasting an average of 3-4 months before wrinkles will slowly begin to reappear. Repeat treatment will prevent more wrinkles to form.
Dermal Fillers
Fillers are used to “fill” deeper lines such as nasio labial folds
and “smokers lips” and enhance the upper and/or lower lip.
The injectable gel is placed below the skins surface to literally “fill in” or “plump up” the wrinkles or folds , diminishing the depth of the wrinkles and create a smoother more refreshed facial appearance lasting 6 – 12 months.
The gel is made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is found
naturally in living cells, including human skin. HA assists in skin
hydration and is able to absorb 1000 times its weight in water,
therefore adding volume to the skin. In its natural form, HA is a
single chain sugar, which is naturally metabolised (broken
down) by the body over time. This product has been listed on
the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for use
since 2006.
